Data Deletion Instructions

Respond Helper is a software as a service by Five Feet Digital Sdn. Bhd. Reg. No: 20230103785 (1531308-T). This page explains how to delete the data Respond Helper holds for your business, including any data we received through the WhatsApp Business Platform and other Meta products.

What this covers

When you connect your WhatsApp Business number to Respond Helper, we store data so the AI assistant can answer your customers — your account and business profile, your knowledge base, your WhatsApp connection details, and your customers’ WhatsApp conversations (messages, phone numbers, and profile names). This page explains how to remove that data.

Disconnect WhatsApp (stops new data)

To stop Respond Helper from receiving any further data from WhatsApp:

  1. Log in to your dashboard at app.respondhelper.com.
  2. Go to Connect WhatsApp.
  3. Click Disconnect.

Disconnecting deregisters your number and unsubscribes our app from your WhatsApp Business Account, so no new messages are received. You can also revoke Respond Helper at any time from your Facebook account under Settings → Business Integrations.

Delete specific data yourself

  • Conversations — you can delete any individual customer conversation at any time from your dashboard inbox. Deleting a conversation removes its messages from our systems.
  • Knowledge base — you can delete any knowledge base item (documents, FAQs, synced profile, or synced catalog) from the Knowledge Base section.

Delete all your data

To delete everything we hold for your business — your account, knowledge base, WhatsApp connection, and all stored conversations — email us at hello@respondhelper.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my data”.

We may need to verify it’s really you first. Once verified, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except for any records the law requires us to keep (for example, billing records). When your account is closed, account data is deleted within 90 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
