Download your leads as a CSV file to open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.
To export all leads, open Leads and click Export in the top right. Your browser will download a CSV file.
To export some leads, select their checkboxes, then click Export in the bar at the bottom.
You can also export a filtered view. For example, if you filter to Favorites and export, the file will include only those leads.
What is in the file
The CSV includes one row per lead with these columns:
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Name | Their name |
| Their email address | |
| Phone | Their phone number |
| Note | Your internal note |
| Message | What they typed |
| Form | Which form they used |
| Source | Where the lead came from |
| Fields | Any custom fields |
| Page URL | The page they were on |
| Favorite | Whether you flagged it |
| Archived | Whether you archived it |
| Created At | When it arrived |
Open the file
You can open the CSV in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, or most CRMs.
In Google Sheets:
- Go to File.
- Choose Import.
- Click Upload.
- Select the CSV file.
In Excel:
- Usually, you can open it directly.
- If names with accents look wrong, use Data, then From Text/CSV, and choose UTF-8 encoding.
Import into your CRM
Most CRMs can import CSV files directly.
Map these fields first:
- Name
- Phone
Then map Message to whatever your CRM calls notes. If your CRM supports it, keep Page URL too, since it shows what the person was viewing when they submitted the form.
Keep it secure
This file contains customer contact details. Store it somewhere private, and delete extra copies from your downloads folder when you are done.
