Open Customize in the sidebar, then choose Appearance. You will see a live preview beside the settings.
Identity
AI assistant name is shown in the chat header. You can use your business name, or give the assistant its own name for a friendlier feel.
Example: Sofia from Bloom Bakery.
Welcome message is shown when someone opens the chat. The default is:
Hi! How can we help?
A stronger welcome message tells people what the assistant can do:
Hi! Ask me about our menu, prices, delivery, or opening hours. I reply straight away.
This sets expectations and helps people ask better questions right away.
Branding
Logo. Upload an image to show in the chat header next to the assistant name. Square logos work best.
Brand color. Enter a six digit hex code. The default is #171717, a near black. Use the same color as your website so the widget feels like part of the product, not an add-on.
If you import your whole website before you set a color, we read your site’s color and fill this in for you. Change it here whenever you like.

- On: the full chat header uses your brand color.
- Off: the header stays white, and only the main action button is tinted.
For most sites, Off looks cleaner. If your brand color is very bright or saturated, it will usually feel better there too.
Saving changes
Changes do not go live until you save.
When you make edits, you will see an Unsaved changes bar at the bottom with a Save changes button. After saving, you will see: “Widget settings saved”.
If you try to leave with unsaved changes, you will get a warning first.
Widget position
The chat bubble appears in the bottom right corner of the page. You cannot move it, so if something else already lives there, plan around that.
