Sync your WhatsApp catalog

Bring in every product you already listed, with prices and stock, so the assistant can recommend them.

If you sell through a WhatsApp Business catalog, you can pull the whole thing into your knowledge base in one step.

This option only appears once you have connected WhatsApp. See Connect your WhatsApp Business number.

Sync it

  1. Open Knowledge Base, select Add source, then WhatsApp catalog.
  2. Select Sync catalog now.

That imports every product in your catalog: names, descriptions, prices, and whether each one is in stock.

What the assistant does with it

Products are not just text it can quote. Once your catalog is in, the assistant can show product cards in the chat, so a customer asking “what desserts do you have?” gets a scrollable list with pictures and prices rather than a paragraph.

It also knows what is out of stock, so it stops recommending things you cannot sell.

Keeping it current

Syncing again replaces everything that was there before. It does not merge, so you never end up with two copies of a product or an old price hanging around.

Run a sync whenever you change prices or add products. There is no automatic schedule.

Viewing what came in

The catalog appears as a single row in your knowledge base list. Open it to see a read only Catalog Products view of everything that synced. You cannot edit products here, because WhatsApp is the source of truth. Change them in your WhatsApp catalog and sync again.

What to do next

Try it in Test AI responses by asking for a product recommendation and see whether the cards look right.
